Only after they have played it they will be satisfied and can judge for themselves how it really was. And people mostly just want to make the experience themselves no matter what the other people say. The only thing I know is that people tell me that it's bad. But the thing is that I never read those H-Scenes from Little Busters so I don't know how bad those scenes actually are. While reading Kanon and Air the porn was really off putting and I didn't understand why they were there in the first place. I find it weird that the EX Version has those scenes. I probably can understand what you mean about Little Busters not having the need for porn to be good and just ruining the experience by including them.
#LITTLE BUSTERS RIN HENTAI PATCH#
Many eroge fans actually patch the games instead because of this. All ages only eroge localisations sell poorly on Steam because of this perception. Apparently it is "censorship" to localise an 18+ title as an all ages title (even if only the console versions come over).
We should be getting more console VN localisations of the enhanced all ages ports that Japan gets especially on handhelds. It's actually rather sad that the main market for VNs (on PC) want the porn. VN DEVELOPERS HAVE REALISED THAT DROPPING HENTAI IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO MAKE YOUR PRODUCT MORE APPEALING TO THE WIDER MARKET. Key, Aquaplus and Type-Moon no longer develop eroge. In fact some companies have done this already. This is why it is for the best that major visual novel publishers to abandon eroge games altogether and only make all ages releases in the future. I only asked because like you, I want this s**t to stop. It puts people off especially as it makes VN fans look like a bunch of fu*king pe*vs. Imagine a casual looking to play VNs and all they see are posts asking about hentai - the most stigmatised area of Japanese anime culture.
As I mentioned in my thread this is exactly the kind of bulls**t that keeps VNs niche.
